Should the kids know about our disagreements?

Don't fight in front of the kids

Don't fight in front of the kids. If you and your partner have a disagreement that you don't feel can be easily resolved, agree to discuss it at another time when the kids are not around. Show them how the two of you can resolve problems by working together rather then just arguing unproductively.

What should i do if my partner drinks alcohol and talk bad abt me all the time and my kids can hear it? My partner when he's drunk he's so mad at me and talk nasty to me. but when hes not drunk hes okay and he's not loud. so i dont know if a person is drunk and he's personality change does it mean that that person is telling what he really feels when he has something to drink? and should i get out of this kind of relationship?

Jennifer,

I can only speak about my past experiences and when my relationship took a turn for the worse I had to get out. My advice is to do what feels right. Just remember people don't abuse those they love - physically or mentally.
