March 3, 2006, Newsletter Issue #71: Donīt blame the marriage

Tip of the Week

If you and and your wife are not getting on well, donīt blame the marriage. The marriage is not a tangible thing. It is the combined efforts of you and your spouse. When the "marriage fails", what has changed is the efforts that are being put in by one or both of you. Marriage is a two-way street and it takes consistent effort from both parties to make it work.
